Services — the five practices

Five practices, one engineering standard.

Minetta Partners offers five engineering and growth practices for UK enterprises — commerce architecture, AI integration, data infrastructure, performance engineering and digital marketing — each held to one engineering standard. Choose the practice that matches your problem, or send us the symptom and we will tell you which one it belongs to.

The five practices

01

Commerce Architecture

WooCommerce and Shopify run at volumes their defaults were never designed for. We re-architect them so peak trading is uneventful.

Headless builds Replatforming Checkout & payments Migration without traffic loss
02

AI Integration

Language models are only useful once they are wired to your data, your rules and someone's approval. We build the plumbing and the brakes.

Retrieval over company data Agentic workflows Human approval gates Evaluation & guardrails
03

Data Infrastructure

Most reporting arguments are really data-model arguments. We settle them at the source, so the numbers in the board pack reconcile.

Warehousing & pipelines Server-side tagging Identity resolution Attribution & dashboards
04

Performance Engineering

Speed is a revenue line and an infrastructure bill at the same time. We work on both ends of it.

Core Web Vitals Edge & caching architecture Query optimisation Cost per request
05

Digital Marketing

Search now has two audiences: people and the assistants answering on their behalf. We optimise for both, and report them separately.

Not sure which?

Most engagements start with a diagnostic, not a practice.

Problems rarely sit inside one practice. Send us the symptom and we will diagnose where it belongs — often across two or three practices — before anyone writes a line of code.

Choosing a service — common questions

Most clients do not start by choosing a service. You send us the symptom — a slow storefront, numbers that will not reconcile, an AI pilot that stalled — and we tell you which of the five practices it belongs to, or whether it spans several. If you are unsure, start with a diagnostic.

Yes. Most engagements begin with a two to three week diagnostic: we work inside your codebase, data and numbers, then hand back a written assessment with a ranked list of what to fix and what it costs to leave alone. Only then do we scope a build.

Yes, and many engagements do. Commerce, data, performance, AI and marketing problems are usually connected, so we sequence the work across practices under one plan rather than treating each in isolation. You get one team and one point of accountability.

We are based in Liverpool and most of our clients are UK enterprises and scaling businesses, which keeps us close to UK regulation, payments and search. We can work with organisations outside the UK where the engagement suits a remote, senior team.

We work with established businesses and enterprises that already have real volume — orders, data and traffic that make the engineering matter. We are not the right fit for a pre-launch idea, but we are a good fit once a system has to be relied upon.

Not sure where your problem belongs?

Send the symptom, not the brief. We will tell you which practice it belongs to, and what we would look at first.
